GM Diet Day 5 is bit tough for Vegans who should consume Brown rice or chick peas or Soya chunks or red beans which are substitutes for Beef, along with tomatoes.
Need to consume around 6-8 tomatoes on this day which is bit difficult.
So I prepared tomato soup where I can consume tomatoes as well as I can get on with Day 5 with no problem what so ever.
- Big Tomatoes - 5
- Garlic Cloves - 5
- Salt - to taste (Not as per our normal levels. Decrease it as much as you can when you are on GM diet)
Procedure:
- Pressure cook the tomatoes for 5 mins along with garlic cloves and a little water. Don't add salt. You will end up consuming more which is not advisable if you are on GM Diet.
- Let it cool and blend them into a thick paste. (If desired, or you can have the soup with chopped tomatoes version)
- Take the thick paste in a bowl and add necessary water for soup consistency, add salt and simmer it again for 5 mins.
- Serve it hot. You can add pepper if desire.
- After have two glasses of water if you are on GM Diet.
- It tastes heavenly. You will love the soup especially when you don't like eating raw tomatoes.
